Summary of August

Another month passing with some issues. Most difficult is the continous problems with my eyesight. After a full control at the hospital they say I have an inflammation in the eye lids but no other issues, however the medicine I need to take makes me near blind. I really hope it will improve soon.

In this month I became one year older, now 59

As I am to retire at the age of 60 its now less than one year remaining. I will start to plan on what to do as preparations for this.

One activity I started today is to go and make gymnastics in the water at the bathhouse with a group of likeminded. It was quite hard so I suspect there will be some muscle pains tomorrow.

I really want to focus on improving health but so far I see no real progress.

• Filling the treasure targets

  
  

  • Currently the average seems to become 19890 per month for 2025, the target is average at 20 000 / month.

    New investments 42392 in July. Target is to invest 15k per month.

    
    

  • Gold in the reserve coffer: Target is 250 000 currently 203 000 (previous month 217 000). The decrease is mostly from buying extra investments.

    
    

  • Saving is the difference between income and spending for me and my wife. As income we have two salaries (I work 100% and my wife 50%) and dividends from shares. Target was 50% saving and actual result was 46 % so it was not ok. This was mainly to high costs on groceries and high costs for the car coupled with some other hobby costs, like an app to learn languages.

    
    

  • Dividends in August was 12596 gold coins. As usual all is reinvested together with other investments coming from the salary.

Learning: I have started to study spanish using the app duo lingo. So far I have reached level 17 in the studies. The main problems is that its hard to see with my eye issues.
