Vacation?

I am currently on vacation in Italy visiting my wife's family in the region of Abruzzo. They live in the countryside about 5 km outside the nearest small city. Here it has been a lot of farmers before but now as the population gets older there are not so many farmers remaining but still a lot of farm fields.

Not having access to a car its quite limited to what I can do here so spend some time with the computer and also sometimes working.

Things that happen in the countryside

Here they have a lot of cats, not sure if they are 13 or 14 of them. One afternoon there was a lot of screaming outside as the cats started to play with a snake. Not sure if it was poisonous or or not but the cats seems to have survived.

The are is quite hilly and I tried to walk a lot but there are some kind of small insects that bite my legs / feet so I had to stop as the feet gets swollen by the bites.

Being in Italy means you eat pasta at least once per day and as there is also other very nice food a diet will be required when coming home.
