Season of berries and mushrooms

This time of the year the berries and mushrooms start to become available. The raspberries are ready, blueberries and also red currant berries. Soon the lingon berries will be ready. I like to go out and pick what I can and if I am lucky there are also editable mushrooms to pick.

Looking for red currant berries

The other day I picked our red current berries in the garden, then cleaned them and froze them for later use. Its really nice to pick things that can be eaten, it feels relaxing to be out. So the main question is why don't I go out more often and use this nice season to benefit from it.

Yesterday evening my wife made a blueberry pie from the berries I have picked a previous year so its good to fill up the stocks.

I see a lot of photos on the social platforms on people that have found a lot of mushrooms so I think its time for me to go check for myself.
