A call in the night

A wake up call

The dream suddenly ended when a call rudely awoke me. From being on a sandy beach in my dreams to being awake in a dark room I slowly looked for the phone. After some confusing moments being half away I found it and answered.

"Hello, who is this?", worrying that something had happened to anyone I knew.

"This is Jane Dark, from your retirement team, we need to talk" the voice said.

I was even more confused as I didn't know I had a retirement team. I had been thinking about retirement a lot lately but not really done anything about it, just believing it would solve itself after some time somehow magically.

"Please enable video communication", the voice continued. Grudgingly I pressed the button and moved the camera on the phone just to show my face.

"Oh...its really bad" the female voice continue. "You better prepare yourself and I will call again when its morning". The call ended and I was now wide awake wondering what was so bad.
